The impacts from trauma can be many, and you may experience lingering effects that may you in your life today, if you related to any of the above statements.
Trauma can be extremely difficult to talk about, even with those closest to you. Feeling unable to talk about it also adds to the impact of the original trauma, making it hard to connect with others and thrive in the ways you desire. It can be difficult to really know who you are and what you want in life.
I know this because I’ve been through trauma – and I know, all too well, the impacts that trauma had in my own life. In my own search for healing, I explored many different therapeutic approaches and healing modalities. They were all useful, however breathwork was the one breakthrough modality that finally enabled me to fully access the trauma I was carrying. Breathwork worked most effectively to unlock the parts of myself I needed to access so I could thrive in my life.
